SOLD, 25, mixed inventory

First time actually being on time for a drop, but think was too slow. Also as a side note does editing a message right after posting it bump you down in the order? (New to BF, so sorry if it’s a dumb question)

No EDC for me. Thought I was fast, lol. Apparently there's a keyboard trick, to drop straight to the reply box vs scrolling all the way to the bottom of the post.
Maybe there is a trick.
If there is I don’t know it.

Honestly, it’s timing and luck.
I went on a stretch of 10 - 20 Friday sales where I didn’t place. Wasn’t even close.
I think the last three Friday sales I’ve participated in I have scored.
I’m using my cell phone.
A lot of people don’t think the “Friday practice sales” thread is useful. They are wrong.
I’ve seen tons of people show up here and try in a few sales, get frustrated, tell themselves “it’s the same people that place every sale”,
and decide to quit participating.
They are also wrong. It’s the ones who keep trying that eventually end up scoring. It takes practice.
I believe jmgruber jmgruber was one of the more recent members to initially get frustrated by the sales but stuck with it. He placed in this sale and others.

My second win today. Both on my phone with a refresh, quick flick down to reply, one letter and post.

There's a few small things you can do to make entering a reply more efficient. Probably saves 2-4 seconds. If people are winning often, they are probably using them.

Mouse over the first link in the sale thread, Refresh (F5) repeatedly, click link when it comes up, "End" key brings you down to the bottom of the page where the reply box is. You still have to click in the reply box, type your reply, then either tab then enter to post reply or click post reply. It still wasn't fast enough for me today...

And it helps to have a fast internet connection.

Amazing... That's it! I am changing wireless carriers now. Lol. I am not that fast even on my desktop. Who is your carrier?

Yesterday was my first time via mobile while driving... Best I could come up with was #43. That's Richard Petty's old car number. Clearly he was faster than I was yesterday.

Concur with above. Not aware of any "tricks" or techniques, keep at it and eventually you will place early enough to score a CPK! Have fun and enjoy...
