Prices include shipping and fees to the US only, international shipping will cost extra!
I'm not interested in trades at this time.
I reserve the right to refuse a sale to whomever I choose due to problems with them in the past.
I received this knife in a trade from the original owner. It has never been used by him or myself. The original sheath has some marks on it because he carried another knife in it. He purchased a second sheath for this knife from HJE that he did not use that fits extremely well. The Backwoods etch is slightly faded, but it's still very present, hard to capture it in the pictures due to the glare from the spine.
The knife is a Backwoods "Sidekick" made by Bill Akers. It is Larry Fowler's Ladder Damascus made from 1095 and 15N20. The blade was acid dipped, hand rubbed and waxed by Bill. The scales are stabilized Walnut crotch with some amazing grain. They are laid over black and white tuxedo liners and held together with mosaic pins.
Measurements are 7-3/4" overall, 3-1/2" blade length. This is a very comfortable knife to hold and feels very stout. A very capable knife for all things outdoors, or to put on display to make your friends jealous.
