SOLD, DEK1 and some other inventory

Hard thin field knife if available. I have a FK2 already and really would like the badidea sliceyness. Though I really yearn for a green Terotuf, titanium fasteners UF to go with the upcoming K18 in hollow, but flat grind ok.

(some hard thin Field Knives available)

Interested in one of these. Need a little info on the specs as to how it is different? Is it just blade stock thickness?
The HT for these was run for a higher target hardness (maybe 62.5Rc?), and the primary grinds are thinner. I think the #badidea moniker came from the fact that Nate doesn’t recommend this configuration for most end users, as the FK2 itself is already run harder and thinner than most comparable blades. I’m usually wrong though..

Thanks! I like a knife that is nice and slicey! I don't need to baton it into hardwood knots or pry antiquated AK-47 ammo crates either so, a thin blade stock isn't a big concern of mine when made from a good blade steel.

If it's not too late Please Count me in for one?

"You can choose from inventory we have already finished out, or place an order for something we haven't built yet and if possible we will try to accommodate as we're building out our inventory."

I'm still waiting for Jo to reply to me. I sent an email but, no response yet either. I'm hoping she is just running a little behind with the household move.

Has anyone else been contacted yet?

Give Jo a few days...

From Nathan Tuesday posted in
Announcements, things you might need to know

"As some of you are aware, we moved our shop earlier this year. Jo and I are now in the process of moving our house. I apologize if we are a little slow responding to emails and if some of our shipments are shipping out a little slower than normal, we are not at the shop as much as usual while we are moving our home and prepping it for sale. I apologize for being slow and for allowing our personal move to affect our business, but we are a small business and Jo and I have our hands full at the best of times and the business is slipping a little while we prep our personal situation. However, we are nearly done now."

Thanks everyone! It sounds like the standard field knife is a great option for me.

Now the last question on the handle scales. Which is the grippiest? A long time ago, I had a Micarta scaled knife with some "fuzz" on the handle scales. That one was really good in the Oklahoma sun when I was sweating hard fixing fence on the farm. Is linen or canvas rough sanded Micarta grippier?
