Greetings friends, here for your enjoyment is a super sharp, super lightweight large EDC Bowie knife. With its fully sharpened clip, I can promise you effortless penetration on soft cutting media, and I have a photo to prove it. I will be happy to send it via PM, but I don't think it appropriate to show it here. Long story short, I went a little too quickly and carelessly while applying oil to the blade by rubbing it on with my finger. On the plus side, I barely felt it.

This one is comfortable, fast, and sharp. About as large as I would personally want to go for EDC, it is the same weight as one of my favorite folding knives (the Resilience) but with a broader blade, sharper point, and longer, both in cutting edge, and overall. If you like Bowies and large sized EDC knives, I think you will be extremely pleased with this one.

Specs
Steel: 3/32" 15N20

Geometry: Zero Scandi-vex, 20° microbevel

Overall Length: 9 5/8"
Cutting Edge Length: 5 1/4"

Weight: 5.4 oz

Handle: Black canvas Micarta, green G10 liners, stainless steel pins

SOLD via PayPal G&S to the email address I will provide in private messaging (not the one in my sig). Includes tracked, insured expedited North America shipping. Will ship internationally with additional cost. First to post "I'll take it" gets priority.

Thanks for looking!

Bob, sorry to hear that. Unusual, but not unheard of. I need your phone number for the Canada Post ticket. Please email me. I can file a ticket without it, and they will send a confirmation email, but they will just send a second email three days later saying "your claim will be closed unless you provide the following info...." As soon as you email me the info, I will plug it in and hit send on the ticket, and my experience from the handful of times I have done this is that gets it moving in a day or two.

If you can do it before midnight tonight I can get the ticket filed online for you tonight. Otherwise I have to wait until Thursday, as I am required to abstain from servile works on the Feast of the Epiphany (January 6). My email address is in my sig. I'll watch my inbox.

I've got it now Bob. You may delete it from your post for privacy reasons, or if you would like me to do it for you just say the word.

I've filed a ticket with Canada Post for you. Quick work on the post edit there. Nobody told me the straightshooter was also a quick draw! ;)

I'm pretty slow at most everything I try to do. Age has really caught up with me in the past 3-4 years.

I'm a Baptist, so Feasts and things like that are not part of our tradition. Do you actually get to feast?

You're very welcome, and I'm sorry this is happening to you. Here's hoping the process ungunks the wheels.

It's called a Feast but not because of dinner plates and bellyaches. It is because of the obligation to hear Mass, if one is able to find a valid and lawful one. To make a long story all too short, I don't know where I can find such a Mass, but I am still obligated to observe the day as one of rest and worship.

Mass? So you're a Roman Catholic?

BTW, do you still have that stainless Hawkbit (I think that's the name) for $79? Can you fit a tek-lock type of holder on the sheath so that one can be carried horizontally along the belt left of the buckle for a right hand draw and, if so, what would the total be? Stainless would be good for summers here in Florida.

People who believe as I do are sometimes referred to as Traditionalist Catholics.

Sending a PM to discuss hakwbit.

S straightshooter1 Glad your knife arrived today Bob! Anything else I can do, feel free to send me a PM, or call me as you should have my number now, and thanks again!

It is beautiful! I am so impressed by your work. I should leave feedback in the Good,
Bad & Ugly forum, right?

One "last" question. since it is not Stainless, it will stain or corrode or.... How should I care for it? I was thinking that I'd use a silicone rag like we use to wipe off firearms. Carry it or use it, clean it off and sip it down with the rag.
