Sold to me as brand new in the pouch which it almost is, but there is a slight glint on the edge near the tip. These just have extremely fine edges so could have been anything, it's barely noticeable. Was not used or carried by me and I see no other signs on the rest of the knife. Didn't scratch the blade at all it's literally just a minor roll that could be easily stropped out or taken care of with a spa. Love the ridgeback milling pattern, definitely one of my favorites for the aesthetic and satisfying feeling in the hand. Amazingly, but not surprisingly since it's a Holt, I can't feel any difference handling or operating the frame lock compared to the liner lock...easy as can be, zero lockstick, lockrock, blade play, detent lash, etc. It is just extremely well engineered and fine tuned. $SOLD
