A humpback skinner in MagnaMax at 63-64 HRC. The blade is 3.2 inches long overall 7.2 inches in length. High hollow grind. The handle (shape inspired by Jerry Fisk's Sendero) is sculpted from 1960/70's Michigan Rag Micarta...super dense stuff! Nickel silver corby bolt, brass compass rose and lanyard tube. red/black liners on a tapered tang.

Sheath is an ambidextrous horizontal carry in black leather with red stitching.

$375 shipped in the US

Very nice looking blade. Is the MagnaMax steel variety marked on the blade anywhere?
How tough was it to get it really sharp?
At this time I do not have a stencil for MAGNAMAX, so it is not marked on the blade. I am hoping to get a laser so I do not have to order new stencils every time I use a new steel.

I found it easy to get sharp. The wire edge was not as tenacious as S90V, and it was easy to get a sharp edge using diamond stones.

That's some awesome micarta........ Perfect for that blade....👌👌👌

Great design and results......👍👍👍. Blade and pants!!!!!!

Still available. This is likely the only piece of Michigan rag I will be able to get.
