In this thread, I'm selling a LionSteel SR1 & Extrema Ratio BF2 R CD.
Both knives are "like new" in box; have not been used, carried or sharpened; show no visible signs of use or handling; function properly, lock up securely and are well centered.
1) LionSteel SR1.
Specs: 3.625" satin drop point flat ground D2 blade w/a black contoured integral aluminum frame, LionSteel's Rotoblock locking system, a steel lockbar tip and a left/right reversible tip-up deep pocket clip.
The box for the SR1 is fitted for the knife but does not have the markings that you typically find on a box for a LionSteel knife. It was the box that I received when I bought the knife from another BF member. The LionSteel also does NOT come w/the adjustment tool that comes with other versions of the knife.
This knife retails for about $197.
Asking $125. SOLD!
2) Extrema Ratio BF2 R CD.
Specs: 3.54” stonewashed modified drop/spear point beveled and flat ground N690 Boheler steel blade with a black annodized alumium scales, liner lock, a lever operated pivot mounted blade lock and a reversible left/right tip-up only deep pocket clip.
I've learned from personal experience that the blade on this knife is razor sharp. The R in the name of the knife refers to Extrema’s so-called “high speed Razor Opening System” which is represented by the extended tang that is visible when the knife is partially open or fully closed, which makes the knife look like a “friction folder” but looks can be deceiving.
The tang is designed to be used to open the knife quickly in at least one of 2 ways: 1) striking it w/the meaty portion of your weak hand to rapidly rotate the blade open or 2) by pressing it against your thigh to partially open the blade and then completing the opening with a snap of your wrist.
While the black bladed version of this knife is still available in the US, I could not find any US vendors still selling the stonewashed version offered here. However, the stonewashed version can still be purchased in Europe. MSRP: 191 Euros (or about $232 US) direct from Extrema and for 175 Euros (or $196 US) from one European vendor.
The box for the Extrema is properly marked and fitted for the knife.
