Today I'm selling my Monterey Bay Knives XLC (Extra Large Carry), their first titanium integral.
Overall length is 8.5 inches and the blade is 3.75
M390 Blade steel
I got this knife April of last year. Never used to cut, but carried for a few days only.
Blemishes on knife:
Very slight snail trail or two on the clip (see pictures). Also, in just the right lighting, the blade has a few defects in its almost mirror polish. Also MBK gave the titanium sides a high polish so there is a slight blemish on the back. Please see pictures!
High gloss pivot has one small scratch visible in the image I directly inserted in the post.
It has a strong detent which I love because it gives an authoritative opening. Action and centering on this knife are superb. Not sure if they plan to do another run of this knife or at least this exact design.
