I am the original owner. It has never been used or carried. Only been out of box to move to the Pelican case or to flip and admire. Centering is perfect, the detent nice and strong, and the micarta feels nice and velvety. This one came with some lock stick, but it's already worked itself out to the point of being barely perceptible after just a little flipping on the couch. Closing action is about 90% drop shut (see video at bottom)--will absolutely be 100% after some break in.
