Here is my last Sgian Dubh for this year... and likely my last available knife.

My take on a traditional Scottish Sgian Dubh - the 'Scavaig'. This one has been crafted with a copper bolster that is solid (not a furrule) and an African Blackwood handle centre. Keeping with the Africa theme, the pommel is in Camelthorn with a fine mosaic pin. This traditional blade also features filework on the spine and a main mosaic pin in the handle. The sheath is also 100% handmade in-house with saddle stitching and toolwork.

- Blade: Böhler N690 Stainless Steel (HRC +/- 60)
- Blade thickness: 3.7mm (0.145")
- Blade length: 98mm (3.86")
- Overall length: 201mm (7.9")
- Weight without sheath: 130g (4.6oz)
- Weight with sheath: 160g (5.6oz)
- Handle material: Copper bolster, African Blackwood, vulcanized fibre liners and a Camelthorn pommel
- Fittings: Mosaic pin and pommel pin.
- Traditional hidden tang design. Comes with a custom fitted sheath as seen.
