Gentlemen,
I've got a great little drop point hunter up for sale today. It's W2 steel with hamon that has been thermal cycled for grain refinement and heat treated to RC62. The handle is curly Australian Ringed Gidgee that has beautiful chatoyance to it. It's as good as a lot of top notch Koa. Gidgee is in the Acacia family but is naturally harder than Koa. I really like this wood. The guard is carbon fiber where the middle section is blue glow in the dark. It would make a great Christmas present for someone you know (or yourself

SPECS:
OAL: 9.0"
BLADE: 3.5" long, 1.125" wide. It has been hand finished to 800 grit, etched in FeCl and polished to reveal a vivid hamon. The grind is hybrid flat/convex which is down to 0.010" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.13" W2 carbon steel heat treated to RC62 including thermal cycling for grain refinement.
HANDLE: Curly Australian Ringed Gidgee with a carbon fiber guard and black and white spacers.
Sheath: Pouch style leather
