This one is forged from w2 steel that has been clay quenched for a nice bold hamon. The edge cuts like a lightsaber. It was hand polished to 800 grit before etching.
The handle is stabilized curly maple. It has been faceted which is surprisingly very comfortable in the hand. It is held in place with pins and g-flex epoxy.
The sheath is hand tooled 7-8oz leather. The sheath holds the knife securely and with a tug on the lanyard the knife pops free.
