Serrations ain't the problem here. On the 5000 it's about 1/2 and 1/2. What is a problem is the grind on this thing. The real Presidio series is a high flat grind. Also, logos' positioning look off.
 
Did this sell to a member here? This is definately a fake. As others have said coating is wrong, grind is wrong, even the generic BM box looks cloned. lol The 5000 box is a black class box and not the generic grey box. Where did you get this?

I wouldn't say they aren't a problem. If you bought one with serrations like that it's probenly fake too. I've never seen a Benchmade with such toothy serrations.
 
Yeah now that I looked at it more the smaller teeth do look toothier than normal. I had a contego with serations in the past.
 
I thought you meant the length of the serrated section of the blade. On the presidio it's about 1/2 and 1/2. But you are on the money about the toothiness. How much was this sold for? If this guy sold it knowing it is a fake he's a scumbag. And should be figuratively run out of town on a rail.

Oh gotcha. Not sure on the asking price. It was already removed when I saw the listing. But I called it out 20 minutes after he said it was going to be shipped so he has had plenty of time to correct this. Besides...can't ship on Sunday.
 
Have the MOD's done anything here. I really hope mikeinct didn't end up buying this last night. It is 100% FAKE.

That is very cool of you CatsTide. I for one would like to know where you got it from? I would try to send back if possible. I'm sorry for the cluttering from all of us here but selling fake/clone knives here is against the rules and espeically selling them as genuine NIB. The generic grey box automatically constitutes it as not NIB besides the fact it is a clone of the 5000.
