Wow!!! You've really outdone yourself with these, Bill. The dyed sycamore on that first one is some of the best-looking burl I've seen on any of your knives. It's an awesome match for the tight twist damascus.
 
Yeah these combos came together good,the dog bone is wicked to the pics dont show it aswell!

It should be fine. CA law requires fixed blades to be openly carried, but for most public places doesn't place any restrictions on blade length or on double-edged blades. The latter shouldn't be a concern anyway, since I don't think the false edge on this one is sharpened.
