Haha! I hear you 500lbman... I decided I couldn't wait! You know how it works though.... They become sold out and POW you want one even more! Then you don't know when the next batch is coming.. So it eats you alive and you have to find one ;)
 
I have a 24 so I gotta wait regardless.
I see they have all the variations of the smooth ti 3.5 for sale now on RHK site, pretty sweet.
Definitely want to wait for the textured(if they offer it) when/if they do a run for the 24.

I think RHK will be doing XM-24's after the first of the year so you might be in luck in few months, maybe sooner
 
If I'm getting an xm18 sometime within the month, and I know I want a titanium scale, would it be a good idea to buy one of these now? I'm new to hinderer knives, will these sell out quick/are they hard to get?

If you can afford to spend the money I'd say go for it. Once these sell out (and they will eventually), nobody knows when the next batch will be made except the ranch. I actually did the same thing...before I purchased my first XM I ordered an armorers tool because I didn't want to be looking once I got mine. Also, if something comes up you could always resell it and probably only lose out on shipping.
 
Calypso is right... If you like something to accessorize your XM, it's wise to purchase when they are available. The Ranch makes things in batches. And they're super busy all the time.

If you like it and have the cash flow I suggest buying it. Otherwise you're on a hunt for awhile. Or end up sometimes paying over retail for the item :)
 
Yea these guys know what they are talking about.

Kicking myself for not ordering a blue pivot screw when they were in stock.

Also I'd like to thank rick rob and the ranch for giving us all the chances this year.

Just bought a stonewashed scale - because I have a problem - I am an addict - and I have no self control
 
We are all in the same boat 500. You won't find any help for your addiction here buddy. We are all just fuel on the fire. Im already frothing at the mouth for when those textured ti scales come out.

What is better than at the end of the day to have a nice home cooked meal, glass of wine and strop your Hinderer. Sliced some twine off bales of hay, figured I'd baby it a little and treat it to a few swipes on the old homemade leather strop. This XM 24 with Ti stonewashed scales is a beast!

awesome pics guys, I took the color out, just some brass n matching steel flame! ebsolutely LOVE this scale and my new setup. cant wait for xm24 wharnies! I got plenty of 24 goodies :D...anyway back to my industrial look as, Jensen coined it ;), I really loving the feel of the 3.5 with the Ti scale. i love how both sides match perfectly...very professional, tuff guy look, it can go either way. love the polished brass standoffs. Im actually glad I cant anodize it, I love the freakin BEEFY all metal look to it...so so badarse! :D
