Some advice on my next EDC folder

How about a Lionsteel Opera in cocobolo? Very clean and understated with handsome wood scales. It's about as far as you get from a spring assist, though.

UPDATE:

So I managed to contact Mr. Mike Skellern himself and am in the process of getting a Boker Plus Exskelimoor 1 From him directly. He is based in South Africa so the courier will be relatively cheap and I can get the knife I have been lusting over for a while.

That puts a damper on things. Benchmades are way overpriced, though HK has some reasonable folders. Check out the HK 14715 Axis folder. 3.69" D2 blade. Very nice knife at $102. Kizer has some nice value priced folders as well.
I have one, it is well beyond worth it.

Cool, that's a really neat little knife and great for lightweight pocket carry. It uses a brilliant, world-friendly one handed opening system too. Take your time learning the technique and it'll become second nature after a while.

Oh...and build up a callous on the outer edge of your thumb!

Boker urban trapper with cocobolo scales is a beautiful knife and a fine EDC blade.
