Some Crappy Pics of My New Shop

Very nice and very well thought out.

Congratulations - the fruit of your hard work is definitely paying off!

Nice shop, loser.

Wonder if you'll ever get a chance to make knives again... drywall still not done? Wtf. It'll be the bank's before you turn the first dollar, beatch.

:D

Clear a section of the bench for me so I can come visit some time this winter.

before you knwo it you will have more tools and your upstairs "rental" will be the clean shop my shop is 16x24 and setup from the get go to be dirty down stairs and clean up stairs and im out of space already jsut a year after finishing the drywall

Thanks guys. I am already planning out a seasonal addition for open air workshops and future hammer-ins.

I just can't wait to find out what you would do different when I move to your neck of the woods... might save me days and dollars learning from your adjustments... I do see me needing the upstairs for "clean" work as Butch mentioned, but don't get rid of the apartment yet... no telling if I might need it when the wife finally gets tired of me. I've already got my dream shop built on paper and it is a constant work in progress of how and what I'm gonna want in there when this army thing is finally over and I can concentrate on playing for a living.

nice shop

Hey Royce... Looking forward to having you out here. Ten years ago, I put my dream shop on paper and it had a clean room. My previous shops all had separate rooms for leather and handles. Since then, I have made an effort to clean up my act, so to speak, with dust control systems. With this new shop, I no longer get dust build up on the benches. The need for a clean room is negligible, now and I love the convenience of having everything in one room.

Inspiring

If you ever wanted to speed up the building, I bet there might be others as poor and dumb as me who would trade labor for forging lessons :D
