Question I've been meaning to ask for a while, but what exactly is smooth ivory bone? As someone having to order into Canada from the States I'd like to know what that stuff is before ordering it, lovely though it looks.

Cow bone I suppose, it's not elephant ivory

So importing it should be okay then, I presume. Unless the customs people just read the ivory part and have no idea its cattle bone. If nothing else, the walnut charlows will be sufficient
