Some New Models Coming. . . Some Old Models Coming. . . . I Smell Bacon!!!!

Maybe that's what the beer reference was about.... waaaay back at the start of this thread? But I'm guessing none of us are waiting around for the 4th to drink beer...

I have a running bet with myself... how many more consecutive days will I continue to check this thread, hoping for some sort of update? If I can break the cycle within 7 days, I get to buy another knife. (But wait - the knife I want to buy is a new model Busse. Oh the irony!!!)

So. Much. Whining.

Get over it.

Waiting for Busse posts and Busse blades is simply the way it is.

Thus it ever was. In my time and before.

It has not always been this way. I first got into Busse knives in late 2001, and at that time and for at least a couple more years there was a standard selection of knives that were always available such as the Satin Jack, BA-E, SH-E, BM-E and maybe a couple more. From time to time new models would come along, including some military overruns.

I think some buyers would appreciate having a selection of some of the more popular models always available, such as the CGFBM. This is just my opinion; Jerry is the boss.

I dont doubt that before U know it We'll have an update, and A Bada$$ Model or 2 will make an appearance lol I just hope its not right after I Spend My Busse Stash on Exchange lol
Stay Strong Hogs, Its Coming lol keep Ur Purse Strings tight for a bit longer... or Dont, Free Country.

That's the hard part, staying off the exchange / spending your cash elsewhere.

So, it looks like I am going to be holding out for two knife types in particular. As far as I can tell, I am not going to be buying another knife unless it is built similar to a Leaner Meaner Street, or a folder.
New, old, classic, or brand new model, does not matter. It has to be either of the two, or I am not in the market.

I am out of work and on disability until September, so funds are tight. Due to this it has to be The knife... We all know this never happens, so I feel rather safe saying it.
;)

Yeah, the Leaner Meaners have a certain pull to them that is hard to explain with words... but the hand explains it just right! I have had 4 over the years besides my EDC HACK Meaner, but only have two of them for spares now. They make just about the perfect 4" edc, especially if the skull crusher is ground smaller or completely away.

Hey Boss, I'm loving the dimensions on the BGSFNO. Any chance of seeing a CG version that's similar? With the smaller talon hole of course.

Edit: ok as much as I like the bg I think at this point I would prefer an original dimensions for a CGSFNO as the tankbuster fills the need of the .25.... yah I waver.

The talon holes on the HUCK were smaller than I am used to seeing on a larger sized Busse. Like they left room in the design for bigger holes. I bet we get a BG version sometime in the future.

I've gotta agree, I know there are many that enjoy this way of selling but I don't care for it one bit. I prefer the way Busse Combat offered knives in the past. How long has it been since there has been a consistent offering on the website?
