Listed prices are usually the same for all dealers for the USA made lineup...I have seen lots of sale pricing on the Taiwan line though!

Well. The price was admittedly high, however I was at bladeshow Texas this weekend and handling this thing I couldn’t pass it up. It’s the first USA Demko I’ve purchased and the most ergonomic one I’ve handled. Nicely ground as well.

The Shark A-Tac! They are very cool and they address the one complaint I have heard about the AD20's...the butt of the handle tends to lock the users hand into position which is fine if your hand fits perfectly. This design removes the "butt hook" for a more universal grip and accessibility to many different grip styles. It is a great design for ergonomics but I still favor the classic design of the original AD20's. But hey...sometimes ergonomics out weigh looks!

At any rate...congrats on scoring an amazing new Demko!!

How is the choil? I'm not a choil guy, but if there is one it should fit a finger. Had an AD10 and the choil was too small so it was wasted space in my opinion.

I know...right! You got your elegant knife parts such as the choil, plunge line, ricasso, quillon and now the BUTT HOOK! Sorry guys..I call it like I see it sometimes!

It works. I can choke up on it, though it’s very close. I have slightly meatier than average fingers and just cross the line to needing an XL glove. So judge for yourself.

Only if I’m really bearing down on something…. Which is not often with a folder. Just showing worst case scenario.

Yes indeed! I have an AD20 Shark Foot as well...it's on of my favorite blade shapes! I have several AD20.5's in Shark Foot also.

i was able to snag one of the shark a-tac soft touch versions. the dealers are getting them now....and i seem to remember the Demko boys say they made a lot of them, so dont bother paying the inflated price from the flippers......if ya want one.....

Just for shits & giggles, I tried to get one of the AD22 Ti models, when they went live on the Demko site. I was as quick as possible, but they were already gone, even though I had technically added one to my cart. That was at 9:00 on the dot. No idea what goes on, where the things are gone before they've even available.
