Some of the lightest pocket knives you can get!

Let's not forget the one that started it all, Blackie Collins Gerber LST (one of the 1st with a Zyrtel handle).

Already posted, but a little more detail: CRKT Eros:

3" Blade, titanium framelock, IKBS, and weights only a measly 1.4 oz with pocket clip. Super light, but certainly not a cheap feeling knife, (and one of a very small set of blades that is sub 1.5 oz and doesn't have plastic handles).

The Benchmade 530 is the lightest for its size. You have to handel one to really get the idea how light it is. It's freaky light. Mine has perfect blade centering and no blade play. I haven't found anything this light and with this quality.

The KA-BAR Dozier folding hunters while inexpensive are very lightweight also AG Russel makes a folder called the Featherlite which is similar same weight.

Spyderco Delica - 2.5 oz
Benchmade Mini Griptilian - 2.56 oz
SOG Flash I - 1.3 oz
CRKT Tribute / Tribute 2 - 1.5 oz / 1.3 oz

Almost forgot the Victorinox Classic, 0.7 oz. :)

I had a BM 530, it did not feel me with any confidence. Was probably the worst Benchmade I ever had; way too much flex all around the knife, uneven grinds on both sides, one of the dullest edges out of the box(BM 154CM edges are almost always terrible in my experience). Due to the weak overall design, it was also the worst Axis lock knife I've handled. Your grip compressing the handles was enough to prevent the blade from opening/closing freely.

Recently got a CS Hold Out III, and it's awesome. Typical CS problems like too much grip under the pocket clip and stiff spring for the lock that destroys your thumb the first day when you can't put a new knife down, but there probably isn't another knife as light and thin that's also anywhere nearly as strong.

2 oz., 3 1/8" blade.

I wish they made a bigger version, 3.75"-4" that weighs 3-3.5oz. I would pick one up for sure!

I can't believe that nobody ever mentions my new EDC on here, the Boker Anti-Grav. 3" ceramic blade, carbon fiber handle, 2oz, for $60!?

The Benchmade 480-1 Shoki is a bit short - 2.89" - but 1.80 oz - and m390 steel - cf scales - pretty neat.

Boker Urban Trapper.
