Some prayers needed.

Glad to do so, BA. If you have faith in the Lord in your testing situation, his will be done. I've recently passed the State of Georgia Licensing exam for Journeyman Plumbers. I had an army of folks praying for me, and just knowing that gave me great peace and calm about the test. I took it and walked out thinking I flagged it. Not so! Praise God!

I'm certain your friend will succeed and even if he does not, I'm sure it won't be a wasted trip on many counts!

Assuming your friend's health is up to the physical rigors of the trip, he's in for the time of his life. People are never more open than to travellers on a bike. I envy him. It's the best possible way to see the country, although that southern route must be getting pretty hot by late June.

Thanks everyone for all of your support! I felt really good earlier today with all your prayers and I passed one test today!!!

Ray has another test on Monday and we all need to keep up with the Smoke and Prayers.
No one can have too many prayers or people praying for them.

Good idea Yvsa:

One big fat stick of "sweet savor" going up for Ray. It does make a nice way to start a day off.

The Protestant tradition doesn't follow use of incense much, or even candles on a individual basis. The bigwigs do light candles next to the altar during services, though. Guess God listens only to deacons and above ( being sarcastic ).

One source states that the word "bead" comes from the word prayer originally.
