Some quick Shallot pics...

Ok, you guys have sold me on the Shallot.:D

I received my first Kershaw knives over Christmas, a ripcord and a Jeep LFK. I was blown away by the quality construction for such price point knives. Now, I need another pocket knife like I need another khukuri, and I need another Khukuri like I need another hole in my head...However, I'm hooked on these Kershaws. A high quality stainless steel blade with AO AND a framelock?...For $50??! I'm there:D:thumbup:

How are the blade tips on the Shallots (compared to, let's say, a JYD2)? Just curious. I've always liked a fairly sturdy tip on my pocket knives.
 
Well it's a pointier tip for sure --- the JYD2 is sort of snub-nosed which gives it more tip strength. Seems thick enough to hold up well as long as you're not seriously prying with it.
