I'm glad that you heard back from him. I hope that you find his work the be of the quality that I did.

For my project I have 0 complaints and would work with him again in a heartbeat. If I had 1shot's experience I can't say I'd necessairly feel the same.

Seriously though, it is very weird he hasn't responded to you....he got back to me fairly quickly. Have you got him on the phone yet? Maybe your emails are going in his junk email folder. I don't know.....very odd, I don't blame you for being upset.
 
I could not get a response from Mr. Dobson so after much thought ...I moved on to another with my request! Hope it all works out for you.

I am currently having a good experience with him....he has my 0550 and communication is great. I just emailed him 2x today with responses........:thumbup: He is working a carbon fiber scale for me.
 
I have had a couple of works done by Phillip.

As has been pointed out - Phillip is a very active young man, and he does go on extended trips etc.

The last knife I sent, Phillip had the knife for 5 months or so, but no worries, you will hear from him and the work will be very well done.

The last knife I had him work on, his mother had to ship it to me because as soon as the scales were done, he was off on another climb.

This is why I started this thread...people are getting their knives worked on and I'm still waiting on mine....when I sent my knives to him the 0550 wasn't even out yet. What's really going on?

I really don't know, seems he is responding to others, just not you.
