  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Some SAK love

In 2014 (Soccer World Cup in Brazil), Victorinox Brazil opened up a SAK shop on top of the well known Pao de Acucar (Sugar Loaf) and launched a Brazil themes inspired series of SAK's. The shop closed some time later and I guess it never reopened. I got a couple of Classics from that period.

One shows images of Rio de Janeiro ( Copacabana's wave like sidewalks design), and the other, Salvador de Bahía, with a woman in traditional clothes.

My first Alox, just in today. Pioneer and Bantam.
BlueAlox4.JPG

I was surprised that the handles on the Bantam are much thinner than the handles on the Pioneer. I was expecting the handles to be same thickness like with Vic's celidor models. The Bantam is just a wee wisp of a knife. If it had a pocket clip eeksmall.jpg on it, it would be perfect for shirt pocket carry 🤓

Many of the custom Ti SAK’s have pocket clips anchored in the Ti scales. The Money Clip comes with a built in “pocket” clip.View attachment 1656040

Here’s my 77 I carried in my bike jacket pocket on my road trip around Spain this September.
I prefer the old soldiers and use them this is one of my 3 favourites.

77 a good year for punk and being young.
78 my first active tour in the Army.
81 my last active tour in the Army.
