I've never seen those numbers on any SAK in the wild, only in pics online.

Recently arrived Explorer (I wanted the plus version - includes pen and pin - but was unavailable). It packs some interesting features: the magnifying glass (X6) is OK and improves performance when close to the eye. It works on the same spring as the very practical in-line Phillips driver. Big scissors are excellent as usual, and the pen blade is always welcome. The remaining tools are the standard ones - includes the awkward hook as part of the back layer tools, not shown in the third pic).

And speaking of controversial blades, I should have this pill bottle cotton extractor on me when I open a new bottle of Eliquis.

Once as reported on the inter-web, rather than disprove the old adage, "There's no perfect knife", Victorinox intentionally omitted the bottle opener when designing their Executive. Then years later, not wanting to take any chances with the famed adage, the Executive was completely discontinued.

A story like that's gotta be true!!!

I use the hook folded out to set the knife on a table and prop my phone up against it to it to watch videos sometimes. Works a treat. Check this vid out.

After seeing that image I took the two knives to some 600 grit sand paper and then some Flitz on a paper towel to bring back a semblance of the polish they started out with

Johnny, this 64 is my oldest one. I need to grab one of those, before they shortened them and went to the spear point for my collection. Yours is pristine!!
