Some SAK love

I took the key ring loop of my old Explorer as its a much better more comfortable tool to use without,it cuts the palm.

As I have another NOS old one and a new version this will be used.

Without doubt the best of all the models for tool selection and carry size (other than for going in the woods).

New scales so I removed the tooth pick etc, and gently prised off one side.

Its best to use the small blade from another SAK,I start at the top and slowly work it in.

Then I find it best to reverse the blade and use the back/top of the blade to prise off near the holding dowels.

Slow and gentle, new scales will usually go back OK,if there is a little gap you can use a smidgen of glues.

Some use a Dremel, I hack saw then use mini files and emery paper until smooth.

Rinse all the metal filings off under the tap dry then replace scales, I will re oil later.

Scientist. I think this is a great combination of tools. I like the inline Phillips and the magnifying glass in a two layer.

Highly desirable model Mike!

Here's a Wenger I'm glad to have, their Ambassador. I like the way the covers wrap around the liners, gives it a well finished look and feel.
