Do you know if that cover is still avail? I’ve got a brother in law with a bunch of squatch stuff and this would be a cool gift
Not really sure. I bought it from a company I’m probably not supposed to name since they are not a supporting member here. But they sell the little fire fly firestarters.

As its a "Thing" 🤭 I did it on my Bantam which must be one of the best add to carry SAKs there is.

First I put a couple of layers of ink on it then let it dry.

It doesn't matter if you get it on the blade or anything as it can be removed easy enough.

When dry I go to the kitchen and wipe it down lightly with a scoring pad,it comes of easy enough but some stays down in the crags giving the desired look.

It makes it look a whole lot less boring,if you want to remove it again its not hard but it does last a long time otherwise in the pocket.

I've been carrying various sheepfoot blades quite a bit lately attempting to determine their usefulness for my lifestyle. As far as I can tell they do everything I need quite well. Of course I recognize their limited skinning ability but I haven't cleaned any game in several years.
Here's a sheepfoot from Victorinox that J jackknife introduced me to. It's often overlooked yet one of the best. Weighs next to nothing, extremely durable, pinchable, easy to keep clean and sharp, inexpensive, comfortable in hand... It's called the Gardener/Floral and it makes a great urban/suburban EDC. Unfortunately it's rumored to be discontinued this year along with several other models.
