It looks much closer to a GSO 6 than I would have thought. Weren't the old 6's the same size as the 5.1's? If you hadn't stated that it was a 6 next to the Fiddleback, I would have guessed it as a 7/7 from that picture.

After having a chance to review the other information, I'm sticking with my original evaluation based on the use I've put on the camp knife. I would not change it based on the other opinions. To each their own, but the arguments against the flare, and for the lanyard hole run counter to my experience. Although if there were a hidden lanyard hole like Andy put on the Duke, or like Guy does on these GSOs, that might please most, as it would give the user the option to use the lanyard, or not. I would be in the camp of not using one with this handle. Thanks for the PM Silver, and cheers bud.
