Some TOPS knives

they do make nice stuff. really like that operator. keep adding it to my cart and not checking out. just dont need another big knife. probably get one though eventually.

check out their pig sticker...called wild pig hunter, I think. really great knife for sticking pigs. got one. haven't used it yet for boar hunting.

Nice knives! I like the looks of the Lite Trekker and Frog Market Special, but most of their designs don’t do a lot for me. I am not a big fan of blade coatings and I think many of their knives are thicker than they need to be. With that said, they are definitely quality knives.

Tops really has some nice stuff. Their collection is growing huge. They had a very large booth #Bladeshow West. Most remarkable i thought the slingshot they showed.

Awesome collection. TOPS makes outstanding knives. I want that 20th Anniversary Tracker w/ that gorgeous leather sheath.

I have the BOB, nice knife for sure. The Dragonfly and Silent Hero are on my wish list. Nice collection.

I have a dozen or so TOPS and aside from the silly marketing (which seems to have toned down in the last couple of years) they make a very solid product especially for the money. I prefer small fixed blades for EDC.

Prather War Bowie. I want one. Do you have one good sir?

You and I want the same blade. I can’t explain it, but that Prather War Bowie speaks to me. I’ll definitely own one at some point. It’s one of those knives I half expected to lose interest in, but it has stuck with me for a while. I just haven’t had the opportunity to snatch one up yet.

As for Tops.. their knives top notch for sure. Some designs can get a bit crazy, but the fit and finish/craftsmanship is amazing for the price. I still need to add a Trekker to my collection at some point, though my little MSK has been doing a fine job for me.

I’ve used this picture a ton, I need to snap a new one of it soon.

Nice knife. I handled the war Bowie and it's thicker than I thought. Nice knife for sure.

Thanks for posting all these great pictures and experiences.

I have not purchased a TOPS product yet, but seeing all these great pics with details makes me think I should.

One thing is for sure, is that they are not afraid of trying designs with a wide range.

Something that seems to come up a lot is the handle ergos. I see comments that they are too narrow. Do many of you owners find this to be true?

Also, does anyone know if they harden the smaller 1095 knives higher than the large ones? I’ve often been curious if a manufacturer would increase Rockwell on a smaller blade, since it most likely would benefit from edge retention vs toughness.

Not sure about the heat treat on smaller knives. Write them on their website for a catalog. I'm extremely happy about their product. Over 300 models.
