I cannot and would not talk you out of that knife. It's a beast, and I think you deserve one. Who else thinks he deserves one?? Speak up! :p
I wonder if they are going to get in trouble for dropping the price a few bucks...

Someone should post up a pic of the black coating heavily worn off their blade. I haven't warn the coating off mine enough yet but I saw a picture of someone else's that had and it looked awesome.

This thread cracked me up. I love mine, it's my only BM....I should say *loved* mine as in past tense. Seems my wife loved it also and she has carried it for close to a year. Ha! Congrats on a very fine knife.

A short time ago I picked up a Tactical 810 with M4 from Amazon. Absolutely love it, the M4 is a fantastic steel and after a sharpening on my WEP it is very, very sharp. I saw this thread and when I saw the 810 in Blue black and

390 from Knifeworks I knew I had to have it. Bridgette at Knifeworks was great to deal with. She sent me an e mail warning of probable customs issues and did I want to go ahead with the purchase. Boy do I know that story well.

I purchased a knife from Lamnia in Finland and it was seized by Canada customs and declared prohibited. (Opens by centrifugal force). Cost to me over $250.00. They tell you you can return to the exporter and then in the next

sentence tell you it has to be by a bonded chartered carrier and none of them will accept a prohibited item. I asked Bridgette if she would tighten the pivot and send it as cutlery. She did so and I got the knife in 4 days, a record on

a knife from the US. I don't want to have to arm wrestle Bridgette as it took considerable effort from me to loosen the pivot. A Canada customs guy in a steroid rage would not have been able to flip this knife open. As my M4 810 I

love this version. I own many brands but these are the 2 most aesthetically pleasing knives in my collection. I have no safe queens and carry and use all my knives. Thanks to the OP for putting up this thread and bringing my

attention to a new beautiful 810. I did soften the sharp edges on the scales of both.

I picked one up a couple of months ago,I like how the handle are smoother than the standard 810 scales. What surprises me is that these are still around.Does anyone know how many are left.

Love my 'regular' 810. I have large size glove hands and the gimping on the handle does not bother me in EDC. Kudos also to large M4 steel blade. I wish Benchmade sold it uncoated. Mine is their gray color.
