I’ve been there and done that. Sold the bulk of my collection to make ends meet and when greener pastures were afoot I was able to add more to my stable, but I’ve come to realize that the knife bug doesn’t go away even when medical bills are past due. Great giveaway regardless!

Wouldn't you know I ran in to him at the post office this weekend. We were both mailing knives. I recognized some little white cardboard tubes, and then the name "Redden". Turns out we live in the same neighborhood. Go figure

I've only been a member of the forum for a year or so and only recently started posting. The other night I did read through the hardships that @r_redden was enduring and when I saw your post for the knife giveaway he was the first person that popped into my head so I tend to concur with Wurrwulf's sentiments. Based on what I read the other night, many people on this forum see Randy as a friend. You meeting him at the post office was serendipity.




Being a wordsmith I'm sure you know the meaning, but actually reading the words seems to make it sound even better, especially considering the time of year
