Someone Deserves It - A Give Away

Wow. We have quite a substantial backing for r redden r redden to win. I have confirmed with him, and he will accept the prize, so looks like Randy is the man who deserves this knife right now. Thanks for playing, everyone. As recently discovered, he and I live just 5 or 10 minutes from each other, so I will be getting together with him after I get back to town to deliver his prize.

Thanks for the generous GAW, traumkommode, and thanks for making the "executive decision" to declare Randy the winner. :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: (When I first saw the thread, I had no intention to enter because I've decided not to "get into" fixed blades. Sure am glad I decided to check back just to see how the GAW was going! :thumbsup:)

Turns out @traumkommode and I live about 2 miles from each other so this morning we met at a local coffee shop and he presented me with the knife. What a fine little knife sorry no pictures my camera is packed up among a ton of other stuff. I want to thank everyone again for nominating me to win this GAW. As exciting as receiving the knife was the real prize was getting to spend about a hour with @traumkommode just chatting (the coffee wasn't bad either. :D) As you know I'm an old guy and we discovered he is exactly half my age. :eek::eek: I'm sure any of you around my age have heard one of us old f**ts say or maybe even said yourselves that young people these days are disrespectful or lazy or some other derogatory remark. Well all I can say is you have never met this young man. I was totally impressed by him and counted it an honor to make his acquaintance. This is one super guy with a great personality and a great big heart. So @traumkommode my friend thank you so much for the knife but even more so for sharing your morning with me it was a real pleasure and I hope we can do it again sometime soon.
