It looks like a Bad Apple Blade, with an Assault Shaker Handle-Grip!

Although the "Pepper Shaker" looks somewhat similar to the traditional Assault Shaker, it is a much different knife. It is somewhat thinner, with a hollow grind blade as its primary grind, thereby making it a better cutter. It is also completely ground by Jerry, hence the extra cost. The BAT (Busse Armor piercing Tip) makes the tip even stronger than what was on the AS.

Anyway, they are very limited as due to their size, they are a mother to work on. And -once again- Jerry does all the grinds on her making her by far the least expensive Variant you will ever see.

Price is $269....get 'em while they last !

Good Evening Everyone-

Had a pleasant discussion with Marc this morning about some of the differences between the Assault Shaker and the Peppered Assault Shaker.

While it's going to be thinner, he estimated it's going from .2500" down to .1875" thick. Let's face it, the Pepper should be plenty robust, especially given its diminutive size.

Andrew, he did mention the finish would certainly be "matte & businesslike," which is a good thing. In Jerry's photo, it almost looks beadblasted and/or anodized...which looks way cool. I sent him a follow-up message on e-mail after I remembered the questions I forgot to ask over the phone. :o

While I've got a few cool knives, this will be my first Busse. Any opinions or feelings on hollow-grind vs. asymetrical grind? Again, as a mere Busse Beginner, I'm leaving those decisions to the experts.

The cordwrapping thread in regard to the AS/PAS is darn interesting, too. All these developments happening at once!

LOL! :D Thanks, Chip, but you know darn well I'd rather have it with me! :D

At least I'll have my DWMS, my Sebenza, and a slew of Surefires to play with. :)

the Pepper Shaker's. I'm as anxious as everyone else.
As to me having connections to Wauseon:( , very doubtful.

Got an AS today, but no PS. Jerry says the PS is a b**ch to grind. After looking at the AS I can see why. Theres not allot of stock to hold onto while grinding, but it's a sweet little blade. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. :D ec
