Someone recognized my Sebenza

Today for the first time. A fellow at a job I was on pulled out a Spyderco Tenacious to cut some snow-fencing. I asked him about his knife, then showed him the 25 I had in my pocket. He said "hmmmmm, a Chris Reeve.......I didn't think anyone actually carried those things". Wasn't much more exciting than that.

Was looking at knives at the range, CRKT/Spyderco /etc. Guy asked me what I carried… showed him the Ti-lock, and it took about 30 min. to get it back! The guys knew what it was, and were seriously intrigued.

Yes it happened last week.

We hired a guy to do our air system and other electrical work. He starts talking to me about knives (boss asked me yo make him some food), and he says 'you must have sharp knives' referring to my sushi knives, and I say 'yeah but my baby is in my pocket' and pull out my small bocote. He instantly knew the pouch and said Chris reeve. I forget what knife he had but I agreed to sharpen them, he said my edge was insanely sharp.

I'm still waiting for the day for someone to ask.... I always check people's pocket to see what clip it is.... never really seen any real winners yet... except one guy with his wife in a restaurant waiting to be seated with about 20 other people, so I thought it would be inappropriate... Love meeting other knife guys....

People all know my benchmades and spydercos but no one sees to know my sebenza. quess im not around the right people

Happened to me twice. Once I was at my PO box opening something with my small Insingo (stupid yes) a cop walks over and I thought "Oh shit oh shit oh shit" (I live in NY) and he just goes "Check this out" and takes out a CGG Large, and we talked for a few minutes.
Second time was I was walking past a restaurant, and I stopped in front to look at the menu taped to the window, and the dude next to me said
"No way! A sebenza?" Was a large 21. Anyways he told me he's saving up for one.
