I have been looking into actually learning how to sharpen just for the two khukuri i do use, my siru and villagers -- almost all my knives are bought as art pieces so they have original edges and I dont mess much with sharpening, but yeah im pretty happy about the situation, i tested the hardening and it seems very solid the file did not bite .

Perhaps a teacher knife has found you.
