Something I just put together

What is that handle material and where can I buy some (whaddaya bet he made it himself :D) ??

I didn't make it, but it be cool if I could. It's carbon fiber, and I got it from Alpha Knife Supply. It looks cool, but it's a pain to machine, though grinding was wonderful. I wish micarta was this easy to grind.

Don't breathe the dust, if you get any of it!

Fantastic as always, Phillip!
Thanks for the look-see of your latest WIP;)

OK. this is just plain eerie, get out of my mind Mr. Patton! You have been to my shop but never in my basement where my blade boiler has been for over 5 years! Perhaps great minds do think alike.:D The only real difference is the gas vs. electric stove!

P.S. Thank you very much Fitzo for that pearl of wisdom about the marbles to prevent boil over, you are an endless source of valuable information. As you can see from my tube I have struggled with boil over as well.

Dude, it looks just like mine! :D How tall is yours? I made mine 14". Too funny!

Yeah, thanks Fitzo for the marble idea. I'm going to try that on my next boil, which is tomorrow...

It's funny, though, this thread was about the pot, not the knife, but here you go anyway. :D

Phillip, that has got to be one of my favorite knives. Thanks for sharing and excellent job!

Beutiful! Love the serations on the spine. Normaly I don't go for that style, but you nailed it.

two months ago I tried to make myself a Quench tank that looks just like your "POT" I welded a 14" x 6" pipe to a steel plate... turns out I am a really bad welder, couldn't get the thing to hold liquid so I gave up. I will be heading to my local welding shop to pick up a condemned Cylinder chop the top off good to go! still love that knife Phillip.
