mmm, lets see. Shon's involved, but the "THINGY" comes with or without a knife. hmmm. I'm guessing got to be an integrated sheath system with extra cargo pockets for survival gear, variable attachment options, and multiple blade holders that can fit most, if not all the current (and expected?) RC knife types. We'll see if I get close. I'd love to have RC-6/Izula carry kit all in one.

Can't wait to see the "thingy" when you put it all together. Between this, the RC-10,and the HEST's, there's a lot to be excited about in the RAT world right now. Take care on your trip. Keep your head down and your powder dry, and get back safely.

Hmmm.... Im thinking of Leatherman's piggy back, he said it was extended a bit for the Izula, add a pouch for Altoids tin and a loop for a RAT fire steel...

Mike just brought this proto in. This thing is WAY nicer than I thought. Includes a RAT leash, a custom RAT Fire Kit holder, the knife liner rotates out of the way, numerous pockets and it all looks like a large Maxpedition wallet with an RC-5 (6) handle sticking out of it. Will get some pics of it in Colombia and post up when we get back.
