Arggghhhhh I finally broke. Been racking my brain since this thread popped up, for a legitimate reason why on earth Id need a second 12" AK. Last time I bought a khuk for no reason, it ended up haunting me, and had to be gotten rid of. But finally, Ive thought of a legitimate reason to get one (well at least thats what the voices have convinced me is a legitimate reason), after planning on a weekend of having my 7 year old son limb some trees (one of the rare occaisions where I actually use a khuk larger than a 12" AK), for my sons sake I shall invest in a future 12" AK for his future use. However, of course, at 7 he's a little too young to own/care for such a knife, so it would have to be watched over by his good/loving dad, till he does get to the age that he would be suited to care for it.:D :eek: :confused: ;) :p :rolleyes:

ps. by the way this long crazy post means Im in for one as well if its $50 or less, thin credit cards cant handle much more weight.:eek:

Thanks for taking care of business Uncle, today was a tough one for me to get through, and it ain't over yet. Never mind that Duck's ranting and raving, I'm liable to send him my spare HI scramaseax so he can use it for a paring knife.

If you've settled on a price for the little 12" Villager AK I'd like to go ahead and pre-pay to reserve one (two might be greedy until everybody's had a chance to get one). In spite of Jim's reservations about the little khuks, I can see a "food fight" coming over these.

I think they shoyuld be offered for sale in order of when people responded to this thread saying they wanted one. Not that that would help me at all or anything. ;)
 
Considering last weekend and all these posts, how many of the knives do you figure would be needed to fill all the orders that you know about? I guess we are lucky to be getting these made up at all so I won't quibble about the wood handle. With the rest of the knife with brushed finish the shiny horn handle would not go to well any way.:) :)
 
Pappy, in order to answer you're question properly we'd need to know how many Uncle ordered and how much they're going to cost. Based just on number of folks indicating they'd want one (or two), I'm hoping Uncle Bill ordered at least two dozen.:D
