So I am going crazy waiting for the BK16 and I just needed something to tide me over. I have been looking at ESEE's for awhile now and was always intrigued by the ESEE 4 so I was at a local gun shop that happens to sell knives and they had a desert tan ESEE 4 so I went for it.

Dang thing was SHARP! Went to test it on my arm hair, expecting to take of a tiny sliver or two, and it started mowing out a large chunk of my Italian American arm hair!!

LOVE this thing so far (don't worry my precious Beckers, you're still number one in my heart). Taking it outside tomorrow.

Good buy man! No worries, lots of us here have ESEE mistresses for our Becker Wives. I'm no exception. I just love knives, though Beckers more than most.

Don't tell any potheads, they may try to torture it.

You'll get some good use out of that one, until the BK16 comes around.

Haha, I did the same thing. I needed something to scratch the itch until the tweeners are available. So I ordered a ESEE 3 MIL. It should be here later today.

Good knife, good company.

I got no issues with ESEE, actually like their knives. I own just about all of them, so, that should tell you something.

No shame is buying an ESEE. I got a 3-MIL not too long ago and I love it.

I went with the 3 over the 4 only because I wanted it to be as different as possible than the Beckers I have. With a 3 3/4ish blade and 1/8 thick it fits that bill -- very slicey.

I can't wait to see how the BK16 will compare to the ESEE 3/4.

yup, good knife, good company, good people :)

... you get them for free? :)

I also broke down yesterday & got me a future project. An SOG Fusion Tactical Tomahawk. They were on sale & i could'nt beat the price. I want to find someone to make me a custom aluminum handle w/thick wall tube, yet have a removeable endcap w/firesteel. Thats gonna cost WAYY more than the tomahawk, i know, but it will be cool & functional.

I have really liked the ESEE knives from the beginning, I just cant spend the cash.
I have lusted over a clip point ESEE4 for way too long... Tweeners need to hurry and get here!

I could never warm up to the ESEE 3/4 handle. I'd be willing to try again with one of The-Knife-Connection's custom handles, though. And the handle on the BK16 is perfect just the way it is . . . or at least it was for me when I checked it out at the SHOT Show. :)

I really like my ESEE`s, my 4 in orange g-10 is a great knife even though its choiled which is usually a deal breaker for me.

Impatiently waiting for your BK-16 would be akin to TWEINER ENVY........

ESEE makes excellent knives. But between ESEE and Becker, the award for best-bang-for-the-buck HAS to go to Becker. Wait until you get your hands on the Tweeners and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I've got a batch as well, 3, 3 Mil, 3CP, 4, 5, 6, and Junglass

3 Mil and 6 are my favorites.

Their modular sheaths are nice.

I am just patiently waiting for the ESEE 4 vs BK16 reviews to start flowin in.

So Rouge, how goes the 4 for you so far?

That looks really nice! Man, now the knife-zies are welling up in my soul even more. What is the difference between a 3 and a 4?
