  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Something to hold me over pre Bk16

Are those the new BK14 scales on an Izzy?? Nice!

P.S. Thanks for resurrecting my thread haha.

Sorry man but I'm just not a fan of ESEEs...I dont want a knife that already has a decent looking set of scales and a nice sheath. Thats what draws me to Beckers aswell as (to an extent) the HD blades, JABs and ZK knives, their customizability factors! PIMP THAT SH!T OUT AND CAUSE A POWER OUTAGE!

I'll get my new BK-16 picks up here soon. She is a beauty and I can't wait to put her to use. She came wicked sharp, too! Any word on how Beckers out of the box compare to ESEEs, edge-wise? I know the three Beckers I have gotten have not been nearly as sharp. They still got the job done, though.

Yeah, as you can see, I'm not one to buy an ESEE and modify it. ;) I'm an equal opportunity modifier.......Becker, ESEE, Condor, customs, whatever. It's probably "going under the knife", so to speak.

Every ESEE I've bought comes just as sharp as my Beckers. I usually re-sharpen all of my new knives anyway. The quality of both ESEE and Becker are spot on. It all comes down to personal preference. Different tools for different tasks. Plus Jeff and Ethan have a lot of respect for each other and a great working relationship.

Flexx.....your the only guy I have seen besides myself that has one of the limited edition(250) 25th anniversary SWAT RAT-3's(before esee name) with the red liners. Its Rowen not ontario thank goodness. Mine is numbered 051.

Man I want a 16, drop point perfection.......no knives this year though, trading my blade budget for building materials this summer for a 4 season yurt.
