To walk out to the truck and grab the right tool for the job.

I was aggravated and trying to get r done but now I'm just pissed at myself

My condolences man. Live and learn I guess. The good news is that now you get to buy a new one. Try finding a Millie in cruwear.

Man that blows. Theres a millie in cruwear on the exchange right now new in box.

I do have another military so I'm not going to be without but another one will be bought eventually.

Probably going to be the ti version and replace the non locking side with the scale off the broken one.

Hi 10fingers,

Something we've all done at least once. Sorry.

Hey Enfield,

Welcome to our forum.

Yes, been there, done that. I always feel like the biggest idiot afterward! Oh well, life goes on. It'll still make a nice utility knife though.

Using it as a pry bar in a pinch ^^

Enfield, I can't say for sure as I was in an awkward position.

Thanks for the condolences Sal and others :)

I already have plans for it.. Ill try and refine it when I get home.

Hey, at least you'll have a Military legal for carry in almost all states. :D
I'd actually leave the handle long though; lots of leverage to cut with.

I did the exact same thing fairly recently. Only, I snapped the blade on a $25 buck folder. Guess I "lived n learned" on a blade I had no problem losing. Can't say the same for you. VERY sorry for your loss.

If the mod works, it will be pretty sweet!

According to spydercos website they will replace your blade for a nominal fee. Might be worth investigating!

Where'd you see that?
This is what I found:

Blade or edge- Broken tip from prying or dropping, chipped edge or broken serrations, destroyed edge due to improper sharpening, rust due to neglect or other blade issues. Spyderco does not replace blades. Depending on the blade’s condition we may be able to re-profile or re-serrate.

That's what I was thinking. All the people making shrunken versions of the PM2, I'd rather just have the shorter blade in the regular PM2 handle.... But yeah, this guy will just break it off again. ;)
