Somthing Different Edged WISE?

Hello,

Ok here it is,,,,a few guessed the Overall
Design of the object.

I call it " The GRAPPLER" the shown example is Cast by me using Sterling silver and 1095
Steel hardened of cource,, See the little
Curve inside the Claw part,,,,SHARP,Sharp, sharp!!! Made one with Meteorite Claw and also with a Piece of ED CAFFERY damascus i had left over from a Piece i had made a Knife out of. The Claw part is also Channel Cut and Tapper Set into the Body of the ring
,providing great strength and puts all chances of Failure out the window!!

The Part to understand is that the GRAPPLER is designed to be Worn with the CLAW part
facing down not up on your Finger, it is designed so the Claw points to the Rear of a closed fist, and can be used for Closed fist Strikes,and then if you feel,,grabbing and Slapping ,Tearing Motions.

The best part is when looked at on the outside it looks just as though you are wearing a Silver band Ring,,until you open your palm or turn you hand over palm up..hehe! AND NO!! with a tightly Closed fist and Punching it doesnt Puncture the USER at all,,cause i desinged it not to...8-)

I have Defeated every security Stop,without Fail ,and waltzed right on through without Problemo one!!!

Parrying Strikes also ,tend to cause Dramatic Tears and troubles also for the assailant.

I was told one time that all that would do would be to TICK somone off if i hit them with it. I responded thats fine COMPLAIN all you want after you Get Finished at the Plastic Surgeon!!! 8-)

Its Wicked and just Shreds Turkey and Chickens, with ease.

Also a Few LEO`s have them for that just right SPECIAL moment when a BAD GUY grabs for them or there Weapon,and the thought of them Sinking that into the Top of the hand and Grabbing the assailant,brings a smile to there face!

Legalities?? who knows,,,, i just make them!
but i do know that its un obtrusive ,allows full motion , can grab and use other weapons while wearing it,Ect,ect,

Going to do some in Platinum band and gold too,,as long as the buyer is willing to pay for it.

Just thought it would be a different kind of Tool to be shown to you guys,


Just do NOT!! i repeat DO not forget your wearing it while you Shake twice and the Zip up procedure while you visit the latrine..LMAO!! I know cause i did it once!! thats the story DAVID was reffering too. It does tend to induce High pitched Screams of Agony when it meets that sensitive spot on the body.....LMFAO!!!

anyway thats what it is,,,your thoughts??

My thoughts are

a) Nice, I'd like a different blade but nice.
b) How much is it?
c) Which finger will I put it on?
d) What are the dimensions?

The reason i choose the sharpened Claw type design as it is,it that it gives the same wound results as say ,Getting smacked by a Crazed Bobcat or Lynx,and it is the only design i have found that allows the user to hide the Claw part in a closed fist and strike without injury to oneself.

The one shown is a Size 10,but they can be made to any ring size. I cast them myself,

I dug out all my old Lost wax casting Stuff
, so sizing them in the WAX stage prior to Burnout and casting is easy. Also getting them sized up or down at a jewler is Cheap too.

Im Going to do a few with a TALONITE CLAW
also,,hehee!

The Claw itself sits right at 3/8th of an inch off the base of the ring body. I wear one on my left hand on my ring finger.

Turn the Ring around so the claw of it is on the top of the finger and it works Excellent For back Knucle Strikes,,take a Guys nose righ off!! or atleast make him think it gone.

ive had more than a few LEO`s ask me not to Sell them to just anyone,,i see there point.
(no pun intended).

So if you wear Baggy clothes,Like PUFF DADDY,
say WAZ UPS, and have EBONICS as your Primary language,i probably wont sell you one!! Other than that send me an Email and when i get Specifics and pricing i will let ya know.

I have sold the Few i have made for Right at 100.00,but im going to try to lower that a bit to Allow all 007 operatives a chance to get one.

they are quite Time Consuming to make since they are all hand made and finished.

Yep i sure will Eric,,,Im actually thinking of Shooting the waxes then Attaching them to a Tree and investment cast them, Then have a
Jewlery Job shop Shoot the Mold for me, you can do like 50 at a time with Great accuracy and nil Perosity inclusions.

Im going to post a Pic of the kind of work i use to do before i became Pratical over on the Custom page ,i hope thats the right area!!... 8-)

I LOVE IT, the design is great, put me down for one and I am sure that my Kali/Silat instructor will want one as well as he was just talking to me about this sort of thing and asking if anyone made anything like this. BTW< you still haven't told anyone the price.

Looks like my guess was on. In my days growing up, a lot of folks bought big high school rings. Not because of any great affinity or loyalty to their alma mater, I suspect, but because they sure can put a dent or two in an assailant if not some nice cuts with the big no name stone/gem. The claw device is a new one though...

Allen, I print the NY Daily News here. Our drivers and mailers(they tie the newspaper bundles) have been wearing rings like these for over 50 years. The sharpened part is the inside of the claw and is used to cut the string that newspapers are bundled with.
I am not saying they are as good as yours. These are made of VERY cheap materials are definitely not weapons. Just thought you might be interested in the similarity.
BTW, I definitely like your idea. Each punch leaves another gash,cool.
