Somthing Different Edged WISE?

Hey Allen, I like your idea too, it kinda reminds me of the spurs used on Fighting Cocks. I've seen similiar rings, not as attractive, that have interchangable spikes and small blades that thread into the ring, but none of them have the talon shape of yours. NICE DESIGN!

Can you imagine bringing that thing into your average jeweler for resizing?! Too funny!

I have one of those ring knives that was given to me by a Plain Dealer truck driver.
It works well for it's intended purpose.
Wonder if the paper carriers will start
wearing Allen's rings once the word gets
out?

Hello,

DONNA,im going to be Casting 6 of them in the next few weeks ,Just standard Sterling and Carbon steel Claw. I vulcanized a rubber mold to shoot the waxes so they should be fairly quick to do.

The tricky part is Taper and channel setting the Claw, not hard really just takes some time. so id say in about 3 to 4 weeks i should have about 6 finished.

Im going to do them More or less as a hobby and somthing to unwind with from , making knives all day.

I don't get it...the sharpened part faces in toward your hand? What if you have to pick stuff up or use you hand for something other than clawing. Someone please explain...I just don't see it.

Oh, baby...that's nasty!

I want one for each finger! One of my last teacher's favorites was an open palm strike...these add all kinds of new dimensions to that!

On second thought, although in the right situation, four or five would be sexcellent, just one or two would definitely keep you low-key. Get a price on these babies, asap! Me want! ME WANT!!!!!!

Also, do you trade? Dunno what I have to offer you, but hey, it never hurts to ask!

I would consider one of these an oddity, or a tux.

You wouldn't wear it 24/7 but sometimes....

You could wear it L to deal with the shake issue, though it would get in the way of some activities.

Have you considered the idea of a sheath, maybe in the form of a "cap" for the blade. Something in Kydex/Concealex that would snap on over the edged part, and make it safe to go to the bathroom?
