I can only give titles and performers. Others can search for and upload content if that is what is wanted. Some ideas for a start:

1. Theme song from "The Adventures of Jim Bowie" TV Show. This has been searched for and found recently as people discussed correct pronunciation of Bowie. Check recording by Ken Darby and the King's Men circa 1956.
.....His blade was tempered and so was he, indestructible steel was he...

2. Three Penny Opera and "Mack the Knife". There was a recent discussion of this in one of knife forums.

I will add more if I find anything. Faiaoga

I can think of two:
The Alarm - Living on a Knife Edge

Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell (lyric goes "There's a man in the shadows with a gun in his eye and a blade shining oh so bright"

The Eagles- Hotel California

"They stab it with their steely knives but they just can't kill the beast"

...condemned to hell. Tempt not the blade...

Across his chest, in scabbards rest, the rows of throwing knives...

The knives fly out like bullets upon their deadly course.

"Country Boy can Survive", "Wolverton Mountain", "Ride on Angel", "Midnight Rambler"...........................b

this thread should never get buried.
although there are no knife references in the song, Mississippi Fred Mcdowell started playing guitar in the 1930's, using a pocket knife for a slide.

and lets not forget Josh "Razor Blade" Stewart

'I learned to use my smile and use it like a knife' is a line from a song on the second side of the Triumph Rock n Roll machine album. Lots of good guitar 1970's rock.

Tom Dooley

"Met her on a mountain, there I took her life, left her on that mountain, stabbed her with my knife."

Got to be an oooooold fart to remember that one.

Don't forget "Mack the Knife" - this version from 1959 by Louis Armstrong. TedP

It has to be an Irish version if I'm going to post it.

"I first produced my pistol, then produced my rapier"
