Ah, ha. I see now, I missed that. That is the berries. Those shelters seem pretty cool. I guess that can save your life in an emergency. Ibtake it the debris acts as an insulating/windbreaking material to enhance the shelter for cold weather conditions.

I checked out the website you provided. I understand completely, and I would surely enjoy sleeping in the hut (in the Tracker School example) with the young lady, just so we wouldn't freeze at night. If we had to stay a week that would be alright with me. Any longer, well that would be alright too!

I almost forgot. How do you keep the darn ticks away? I go hunting alot, and up here in NH there are ticks everywhere, some place worse than others. I was talking to a guy who hunts in the Berkshires in Mass. He said Conn. is loaded with ticks, and he did not like hunting there because of this fact. How do you stay in the woods for a week in wood debris without getting eaten alive by ticks.

Haven't you any ticks there? I know there aren't any mosquitoes in Las Vegas and San Diego.
