Sooooooooooooooo Blade #3...Jerry

What is double cut?

Double cut or DCBB (Double Cut Bead Blast) is a matte finish that first abrasive grit blasts the blade and tang blade blank to remove the layer of de-carb then smooths that rough surface with a 2nd blast session of fine glass beads. This 2nd blast smooths the surface and makes it less prone to activation/oxidation/rust. The DCBB finish is very attractive IMHO but IS prone to show rust speckling where handled. Satin INFI, whether owner applied ("ghetto"), or done by the shop as standard or the roughter B.I.G. SF (Busse Industrial Grade) Satin Finish is very highly resistant to rust even though INFI does not have enough chromium in its alloy mix to be considered a true stainless steel.

I would preferr a BIG BM-E2. Or a BIG MOFO or MOJO. Or a BIG Boss Jack (No choil). Or a BIG .....
DCBB is a beautiful finish for safe queens, but few people have blast cabinets or take them to be blasted on a (semi) regular basis. Once you start using it, either you leave the wear and tear alone or you eventually end up ghetto satinizing it yourself. BIG SF works for me. Want DCBB? Get it blasted at a local shop then frame it for display.

So we are waiting for WEDNESDAY for the hammer to drop?

Does that mean we should rabble rouse, jingle chains, pound the trough?

What is the accepted protocol?

I get the feeling there are a lot of roughed up hogs, resting in the mud after a pretty tough run at the trough over the last two months.

^--- Feel free to OINK!!! Sewee!! SNORT!! and gnash your tusks! :pig:

Boss man knows his HOGS! ;) --- :D

Tuesday and Wednesday are always rough waiting and refreshing. May need to change my days off

I'm not sure that anything short of a BMe (in some form) would open my aching wallet, at this point...but I'm willing to be proven wrong.
