Sorta bad experience with seventhdaytactical

I'm sorry that happened to you. Hopefully he will stab himself with all the knives he scammed people out of.

I ordered a custom scale from him off instagram. He made it to my specs but apparently his countersink bit was broke so he tried to use a regular drill bit. The pivot countersink was off by a tiny bit so the scale didn't fit properly. He assured me he would make a new one and send it to me because he wants me to be happy with it. Never heard back from the guy. Last message and email I sent him was 3 weeks ago. About that time he was trying to sell off a pm2 with custom scales and a lanyard and some other knives. I am glad I didn't buy one of those from him. Looks like he has deleted his website it's no longer registered. His instagram looks to have no new activity. I hope he doesn't change his name and keep ripping people off.

Other month he tried buying my Hinderer from me with probably the same watch. He told me the watch was worth a certain amount of money. But after researching I saw him selling the watch for much less on Instagram. So naturally I tried not to do business with him as he wasn't being honest with his valuation of the watch. I initially was going to do the trade because he told me his son was in the military and going to have graduation in mid February. Now, I don't know if this is true or much about the military. Especially, when graduation from boot camp occurs. He also told me it was on a Thursday and he was very persistent on trying to make me do the deal. Anyone know when bootcamp graduations typically take place?

I probably would have done the deal with him if he gave me a honest valuation of the watch. At first he told me $300 plus then I looked on eBay and they weren't selling for $200. After searching his name on Insta I saw him trying to sell it for a ridiculously low price of which I do not remember.

He is banned, no tolerance for this kind of BS anymore. :thumbdn:
Do your homework before transacting with people.

Thanks for the mods for once again looking out for us. I have come to the decision that I won't buy from anyone, no matter the deal, until I check them out. Maybe PayPal is the only way to go?

What good are all these threads and warnings if we don't know who he is??? How is this helpful, when pulling another scam is as easy as registering a new account?

Thanks Rev, I am sure you more then anyone would like to see less of these issues in the GBU, and taking action, while it will never stop this kind of behaviour, may help a few people reconsider...

It's important to remember that as buyers, we can and need to make it harder for these thieves.
This is a forum on the internet, you are not buying a knife from someone you know. Please keep that in mind...

Lets post this guys name and address? Maybe he will get a personal visit.

That kind of talk is plain silly, and is not condoned here in anyway. Should anything happen to the guy and it gets tracked back, guess what happens next?

Exactly, maybe the OP will fill in the blanks. Otherwise this entire effort is a giant waste.

Before I buy or sell anything to anyone on here I always check their feedback score, check the hall of fame and shame, use pp goods and services only, and always use a package with tracking number.
