We don't taper the 3/32, just so thin to start with. It is SFT though. Ijust got to the house and Ken left with the knife case so I will have to get a pic tomorrow.

On another note, here is some of the handle material I picked up for my knives at the show. Some of this is just epic! The two mammoth tooth sets I am going to have to think real hard on which profile to use them on. I think a minuteman is one, open to ideas on the other. Or maybe a matched set of knives to go with this matched set of scales....

OH MY!!! I cannot wait to see what kind of offerings you come up with.
Since you are now updating again, are you home??
Sounds like this weekend was a good one for y'all.
If so, are there any WAS knives in CPM?
Preston

Might still be a little too thick, but is there any flexibility in either blade?

They are both fairly normal to thin, compared to say a normal hiking buddy or kephart. There is a small flex in the 1/8 O1.

Hey Preston, just got home, quiet house, can't stop working of sorts, lol. There are a good few left in CPM, go backtwo pages or see and look at the pics and see which ones you like and I can let you know if it is cpm.

Thanks Allen
Looking forward to the photos.

That handle material is epic it would be difficult to choose which I like the best .
Can't wait to see what they look like on the finished product Allen.

Also thanks very much for the opportunity to purchase a knife from the show with your sales thread.

Mick

You fellas missed a hell of a nice custom knife show

I must agree with NUTRAMAC, for those of you who didn't get a chance to make it to the show. Quite a bit of talented custom knife makers and even more-so a plethora of beautiful knives.

It was nice to finally meet Andy, Allen and Ken. The Fiddleback and WAS table was the main attraction for sure. Andy even let me hold his sweet green Patch knife, which means I must have one now.

It was a short-lived visit for me but well worth the trip. Plus, that pine cone Asp needed a proper home. ;)

I thought I saw something with a pine cone handle on Fotki, looked like a Big Sneaky to me at first (next one on my want-list). Nice score, I hope you'll post some pics soon, mr. Hone.

Some quick pictures of this fabulous Sweet Gum Kephart
This knife is absolutely stunning, the grippy feel of the handle is perfect.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks emoney, Bill and Kirkwood. The wife saw this one on fotki with me and immediately said, "you better get that one.:)"
It was awesome to go to the show with my father, the Kephart was just the cherry on top.
Now to post some pics of Allen's insane short muck I was able to shark!
After work I will try to upload some on the WAS forum.

Rob:

You did good.....this Kephart is stunning......does it take AAA or AA batteries ;)

I just meet all the guys from Fiddleback Forge this weekend at the Southeastern Custom Knife Show. Great group of guys and some beautiful knives! Thanks again guys!

I was making firewood all day yesterday, and in meetings all day today. Holy crap did I miss a fun day at the forge. Allen, those scales on the bottom left. To me that looks like a bull calf on the right eying a heifer calf on the left. Am I sick or does somebody else see it as well?

Now that you mentioned it....
