F :footinmou :footinmou T-In-My-Mouth....

I refuse to comment on this since I am getting ready to go to the lawnmower races where they have been rebuilt to run 70 to 75 mph. and go eat the best barbque in North, SC. 'nuff said. :D

Well here I am, livin in Muraland. Nobody claims us. The Northerners say "you are all Southerners." The Southerners say "yall are Northerners". Anybody got a say on this?

Sorry, hawkpatriot. We drive through so fast it's hard to tell. :D But look at it this way, if you play it right, you can have the best of both worlds -- you can eat like southerners and read and write like the rest of us up north.

I can relate. I once heard a song about my home state (WV) that included the line, "Northerners call us Southerners and Southerners call us Yankees." I find that a true statement more often than not. :( (As if it weren't bad enough that everyone thinks I'm from western Virginia).

Gary W. Graley: Sounds like you grew up right around my neck of the woods. Would that holler happen to be located in Tornado?

More towards the west, I rightly can't remember as I lived in St. Albans but my Great Grandma had the cabin in the holler, my great uncle Leonard used to bring home a "Girl" and I remember my Grandma sweeping her out of the yard with a broom yelling that he's not old enough to have girl friends, he was in his 40's at the time ;)

I have some relatives (cousins of my dad) living in West by God. The northern part, though, closer to PA. They used to live in Port Allegheny, PA, but then moved out. Last name "Bosnick". If some of you know 'em that'd be nice. Seems like they haven't contacted the rest of the family in a long time...

In his 40's?

That's hilarious, GWG! :D

Sorry hawkpatriot, sounds like your kin live a good three hours from here, at least. Wish I could've helped.

Ouch Peeps, that hurts! :p

Not that there's anything wrong with western (or southwestern) ;) Virginia! It's a lovely area. It just amazes me how many people don't realize there's an actual separate state named West Virginia. Of course those are probably the same people who don't know the vice-president's name either, so there ya go!

I've always been told that people in WV are taught the 3 R's
Reading
Riting
and Routes out of West Virginia! :)

Everyone I meet is From WV, seems like most don't live there any more? I migrated further north to PA, nice country up here as well.
